Biography

Blair Solon is an assistant professor and the Collections Analysis Librarian for the University Libraries. She works on the Collections team within the Learning, Research and Engagement unit, as well as in the Assessment & Innovation unit. In these roles, she supports the development, management, policy, and assessment of UNM’s library resources. Her scholarly interests include censorship in academic libraries, open access publication practices, and artists’ books. 

 

She holds a MSLIS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a BA in History from the University of New Mexico, and a certificate in Arabic Language from The American University in Cairo.
