Richard Clement is the Dean of College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences. Before coming to UNM, he served as dean at Utah State University from 2008 to 2014. At USU he transformed library services to provide digital content to six campuses and numerous centers across the state. At the same time, he has insured the preservation of the unique and rare materials that constitute the collective cultural heritage.
Dr. Mark Emmons is the Associate Dean of Public Services and a Professor of Librarianship. He is responsible for all aspects of the library that support student and faculty learning and research. Public Services include access services, outreach, instruction, reference, research data, collections, interlibrary loan, government information, maps, and Latin American collections. Emmons' scholarly interests are on the impact academic libraries have upon student success and resources for film research.
Senior Associate Dean
Dr. Frances C. Wilkinson is the Senior Associate Dean and a Professor of Librarianship. She is responsible for Administrative Services including budget and cost management, human resources, facilities, information technology, assessment, and marketing. She also oversees technical services and the LIBROS consortium. She is the Administrative Director of the Organization, Information, & Learning Sciences program where she teaches organizational leadership, qualitative research methods, adult learning theory, and organizational development and consulting.
