Cindy Abel Morris is pictorial archivist in the Center for Southwest Research and Special Collections, where she processes photographic materials, manages image collections, and responds to reference inquiries and photo requests.
She holds a Master’s degree in Art History (Modern Art) and a Master’s in Business Administration (Management of Technology), both from the University of New Mexico. In addition, she is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists.
Previously, Cindy was manager of a special library and its visual resources collection. She has worked extensively with digital collections, visual collections representing art, architecture and cultural material, and is experienced with content management system transitioning. She finds great reward collaborating with researchers of all experience levels.
