Ross started here in 1980 in the mailroom. After a time he moved into Acquisitions where he eventually became the receiving supervisor. He remained there until the Operations Team was formed and he joined that. Operations eventually became the IT department of the library. After a number of years he transferred back to acquisitions in searching and ordering, and that is where he is today.
Ross graduated from the University of New Mexico where he studied voice. He has sung principal roles with Opera Unlimited, Opera Southwest, and Albuquerque Civic Light Opera Association. Ross has been a soloist at the Cathedral Church of St. John, First Congregational United Church of Christ, and Immanuel Presbyterian Church. All in Albuquerque, as well as performing solo concerts. He currently studies voice with Jacqueline Zander-Wall and sings at St. Francis Episcopal Church. He is secretary on the board of directors of Surgite, a sacred dance company.
