Lea Briggs is the Special Projects and LIBROS Consortium Coordinator. In her role in library administration, she manages special projects and reporting for the University Libraries. She is also the administrator for the LIBROS Consortium, a group of 17 academic and special libraries in New Mexico.
During her more than 20 years of experience in libraries, Lea has held positions in reference, instruction, project management, public services, technical services, and administration. Her research interests center around management of libraries and provision of services to distance students. Ms. Briggs earned a Doctor of Education in Education Administration (Ed.D.) with a specialization in Adult & Higher Education from the University of South Dakota, an M.L.S. from Emporia State University, and a B.S. in Business Administration - Accounting, from Northern State University.
